A new Google feature allows people to search for events on mobile and in app.
As of this post date, the feature is live in US only, if proved successful, will likely roll out globally in the near future.
Here is how it works:
Doing a search for events brings up a clear summary of activities from sites from across the web like Eventbrite, Meetup and more. With one tap, you can see at a glance details about the event such as title, date, time and location. Once you find an event that takes your fancy, select it and you can buy tickets directly from the website.
